E-Commerce Growth — TikTok Shop Launch & Multi-Platform Expansion ───────────────────────────────── ABOUT THE BUSINESS ───────────────────────────────── We are looking for an experienced, strategic partner to help launch and grow a consumer product brand, starting with TikTok Shop and expanding into Shopify and Amazon. This is not a basic freelancer role. We are looking for someone who understands how to build and scale a product from idea to revenue, with a strong focus on TikTok-driven sales. Kindred Balance Co is a new luxury natural skincare brand launching a TikTok Shop. The initial product is in the personal care/beauty category, and we need support across sourcing, branding, packaging, and go-to-market strategy. . We are looking for an experienced e-commerce contractor or agency to take us from pre-launch through to consistent sales on TikTok Shop, with a clear path to eventually expanding onto Shopify and Amazon. ───────────────────────────────── WHAT WE NEED ───────────────────────────────── We are looking for one experienced contractor or a small team/agency who can own or coordinate all of the following: 1. PRODUCT SOURCING — Ability to evaluate and advise on supplier relationships, order quantities, and cost-per-unit strategy as the business scales — Experience sourcing consumable/personal care products preferred 2. WAREHOUSING & FULFILLMENT SETUP — Identify and set up a cost-effective 3PL or fulfillment solution appropriate for a startup volume (under 500 units initially) — Ensure fulfillment meets TikTok Shop's handling time and shipping requirements 3. TIKTOK SHOP SETUP & MANAGEMENT (PRIMARY FOCUS) — Full TikTok Shop account setup, listing optimization, and ongoing management — Proven organic-first content and marketing strategy (we are not starting with a large paid ad budget) — Affiliate/creator program setup and management via TikTok Shop's creator marketplace — Understanding of TikTok Shop seller policies, compliance requirements, and algorithm — Ability to build traction from zero — we do not have an existing following — Experience growing TikTok Shop accounts from scratch is required, not preferred 4. MARKETING & CONTENT STRATEGY — Develop and execute a lean, organic-first marketing strategy suited to a new brand with limited paid ad spend — Content direction and posting strategy (founder-led content + affiliate creator strategy) — Clear KPIs and reporting so we always know what's working — No black-hat tactics, bot services, or policy-violating approaches 5. SHOPIFY & AMAZON EXPANSION (PHASE 2) — Ability to advise on and eventually build out a Shopify storefront and Amazon listing as the business grows — Experience with Amazon Seller Central and FBA preferred — This is not an immediate need but must be within your capabilities ───────────────────────────────── WHO YOU ARE ───────────────────────────────── — You have verifiable, hands-on experience launching and growing TikTok Shop accounts — especially from zero followers — You can show real results: stores you've grown, sales numbers, account examples — You communicate clearly and proactively — no chasing for updates — You are comfortable working with a founder who is actively involved and has a strong creative vision — You work within platform rules. Always. ───────────────────────────────── STRUCTURE ───────────────────────────────── We are open to a single contractor who handles everything directly, or a lead contractor who manages a small team of specialists. Either structure is fine — what matters is clear ownership and accountability. If you plan to subcontract any portion of the work, please specify what and to whom in your proposal. This is an ongoing engagement, not a one-time project. We are looking for someone to grow with the brand long-term. ───────────────────────────────── HOW TO APPLY ───────────────────────────────── Generic proposals will not be considered. To be reviewed, your application must include: 1. At least 3 specific examples of TikTok Shop accounts you've launched or managed — include results (sales volume, follower growth, or revenue milestones if possible) 2. A brief proposed approach (1 page or less) for how you would take Kindred Balance Co from zero to consistent TikTok Shop sales in the first 90 days — include how you'd handle the fact that we have no existing following 3. Your proposed structure — will you handle everything solo, or do you work with a team? Who is responsible for what? If your proposal does not address these three points, it will not receive a response. ───────────────────────────────── A NOTE ON FIT ───────────────────────────────── We've had previous contractor experience that didn't work out due to misaligned strategy and deliverables that missed the brief. We are not looking for someone who will tell us what we want to hear. We want honest, experienced guidance — even when that means pushing back on an idea.
