We’re seeking an experienced freelance developer with Modern Campus CMS expertise to support a university website initiative. Important: This project is built on Modern Campus CMS, which has a steeper learning curve than platforms like WordPress and requires familiarity with its templates, publishing workflows, and structured content model. Project Overview The University is implementing an automation-first, centrally governed solution for Academic Program Pages and an integrated Program Finder. This system will be built within the Modern Campus CMS environment. The goal is to improve program discoverability, create a consistent recruitment experience, meet compliance requirements, and reduce manual maintenance through scalable, structured solutions. Scope of Work Develop and customize templates and components within Modern Campus CMS Work within CMS publishing workflows and governance constraints Support integration of structured academic program data Contribute to building a Program Finder (search/filtering, structured display) Requirements Proven experience with Modern Campus CMS (required) Experience working within structured CMS environments with strict workflows Strong front-end development skills (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) Experience integrating external data sources or APIs Nice to Have Higher education website experience Experience with student information systems (SIS) Familiarity with accessibility and compliance standards Logistics Freelance / contract role Remote (open to global candidates) Timeline and scope to be finalized based on experience Please include examples of relevant Modern Campus CMS work when applying.
