We are looking for an experienced data visualization / business intelligence specialist to help us design and build a unified reporting and analytics environment that consolidates data from multiple different sources into clear, actionable dashboards. The goal is to create a scalable, well-structured system that allows us to aggregate, clean, model, and visualize operational and performance data in a way that supports decision-making, reporting, and ongoing analysis. What we need help with: We currently have data coming from a variety of sources and want someone who can help us: * Review and assess our current data sources * Design a clean and scalable reporting architecture * Consolidate data from multiple systems into one centralized environment * Build dashboards and visualizations that are easy to understand and actually useful * Help define the right KPIs, metrics, and data structures * Create a setup that can support both current reporting needs and future expansion * Advise on best practices for automation, refresh schedules, data quality, and long-term maintainability Potential data sources may include things like: * Spreadsheets / CSV files * Forms or manually entered operational data * GPS / route / location data * Platform exports * API-based data sources * Traffic, mapping, or geospatial datasets * Internal operational records * Historical data stored across disconnected files/systems What we want the end result to look like: * A centralized data model or reporting structure * One or more professional dashboards * Clean, intuitive visualizations * Ability to slice data by geography, time period, asset/category, performance group, or other relevant dimensions * Optional heat maps / geospatial views if relevant * A setup that can be handed off and maintained over time * Clear documentation of how the system is built Ideal candidate should have experience with: * Metabase, Power BI, Tableau, Looker Studio, or similar BI tools * Data modeling and dashboard design * ETL / data transformation workflows * SQL * Google Sheets / Excel integrations * API integrations * Geospatial / map-based visualizations is a strong plus * BigQuery, Snowflake, PostgreSQL, Airtable, or similar data environments is a plus * Strong communication skills and the ability to recommend the best setup, not just build what is asked What we are looking for in this engagement: We do not just want a dashboard designer.
