Project Overview I’m building an AI-powered payment assistant (Smither) that allows users to send and schedule payments through a chat interface (starting with Telegram). The goal is to launch a functional MVP quickly that demonstrates end-to-end flow: user input → AI parsing → confirmation → logging → payment trigger. ⸻ Scope (MVP Phase 1) Looking for a developer who can connect the core pieces into a working system: • Telegram bot that captures user messages • Send messages to OpenAI API for structured parsing (amount, recipient, timing) • Return parsed response clearly to user • Confirmation step before execution • Store all requests in Google Sheets or simple database • Basic scheduling logic (delayed payments) • Webhook/API handling to connect services ⸻ Tech Stack (Preferred but flexible) • Node.js or Python backend • OpenAI API (GPT-4 or similar) • Telegram Bot API • Google Sheets / simple DB (Firebase, Supabase, etc.) • Webhooks / Make.com / Zapier (optional but a plus) ⸻ Important Notes • This is an MVP — speed and functionality matter more than perfection • System should be built clean enough to expand later • Payment execution can be simulated or simplified in this phase if needed • Experience with Stripe, fintech, or wallet integrations is a plus ⸻ What I’m Looking For • Someone who can actually connect systems end-to-end, not just write isolated code • Clear communicator who can suggest improvements if something is overcomplicated • Ability to build fast and iterate ⸻ Deliverable A working MVP where a user can: 1. Send a payment request via Telegram 2. Have it parsed and confirmed 3. Logged and scheduled 4.
