Project Summary: We are looking for an experienced NetSuite ERP Finance Consultant to support the analysis, design, and optimization of ERP driven finance processes. The focus of this engagement is to ensure robust financial system configuration, compliant process design, and scalable automation across core finance functions. Responsibilities: - Independently analyze existing finance processes (e.g., Record-to-Report, Procure-to-Pay, Order-to-Cash) within the NetSuite ERP environment, identifying gaps, risks, and inconsistencies - Translate business requirements into implementable process and system designs, including posting logic, account determination rules, approval workflows, and structured documentation - Provide recommendations and, where required, implement configuration within key NetSuite finance modules (General Ledger, Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, Fixed Assets, Tax, Payments), including parameterization and system setup Design and optimize master data and account structures (e.g., Chart of Accounts, cost centers/profit centers, subsidiaries, document types) including governance and transparency concepts - Develop structured concepts for period-end and year-end closing processes (monthly/quarterly/annual), ensuring reconciliation logic, accruals, audit trail, and traceability - Design and enhance authorization and internal control frameworks (roles, segregation of duties, approval workflows) aligned with compliance and audit requirements - Define and optimize interfaces and data flows to adjacent systems (e.g., billing, banking, reporting/BI), including error handling, retry logic, and reconciliation approaches - Plan and execute functional process and document testing, including test case preparation, documentation of results, and preparation of signoff documentation - Prepare comprehensive documentation and handover materials (process documentation, configuration overview, control checkpoints, runbooks) to ensure sustainable system usage and further development - Derive automation and continuous improvement recommendations for finance processes and ERP configuration, including prioritized implementation roadmaps and value justification Profile: - Several years of experience as an ERP Finance Consultant, ideally with strong NetSuite expertise - Proven hands-on experience in NetSuite finance module configuration and implementation - Strong understanding of end-to-end finance processes (R2R, P2P, O2C) - Deep knowledge of financial accounting structures, posting logic, and compliance requirements - Experience in designing internal control and authorization concepts (Segregation of Duties) - Solid background in system integrations and finance-related data flows - Structured, analytical, and solution oriented working style - Fluent English communication skills
